Olympics in Vancouver 2010

What can one say except what an experience to be in an already super city but then to be here for the Olympics. We got to seven different events - hockey, speed skating and curling. We also went to a Victory Celebration. The esprit in the city and the people from all over the world made it quite a scene. Sitting in Robson Square and people watching was just great. The pavilions were nice to get into once you waited for several hours. But the ruach and ambiance was just a joy to expereince. We also went to two Para Olympic events in sledge hockey and wheelchair curling. The athletes were inspiring to observe. We did not get to any skiiing, nordic events or ski boarding. We were inspired and excited to be in this world class place.
